BarberScanner is a booking and appointment platform for clients and barbers. Clients can discover barbers, view services, and book appointments. Barbers can manage availability, appointments, customer interactions, and subscription features.

2. Information We Collect

Account and profile data

When you create an account or sign in using email, password, Google, Apple, or another supported login method, we may collect your name, username, email address, phone number, profile photo, role (for example, client or barber), and other profile preferences you choose to add.

Barber and shop data

If you are a barber or shop owner, we may collect business name, shop name, address, service list, pricing, opening hours, booking rules, profile images, portfolio images, descriptions, and information used to present your business listing to users.

Booking and communication data

We collect appointment-related information such as selected barber, date and time, booking status, notes, cancellation or rescheduling events, and messages you send to us for support or account help.

Payment and subscription data

If you purchase a subscription or another paid feature, we may collect payment-related information such as subscription plan, billing status, invoice references, transaction identifiers, and limited payment metadata from our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our own servers.

Device, usage, and diagnostic data

We may collect device model, operating system, app version, IP address, crash logs, performance data, feature usage, and diagnostic information to keep the app secure, stable, and reliable.

Notification data

If you enable notifications, we may collect push notification tokens and delivery status so we can send booking reminders, account alerts, and service updates.

Location data

If you grant location permissions, we may use approximate or precise location to show nearby barbers and improve search results. You can disable location access in your device settings.

Uploaded media

You may upload photos such as avatar images, barber shop photos, portfolio images, or other content. These files may be visible to other users depending on how they are used in the app.

• Match clients with barbers and show availability.

12. App Store / Google Play Disclosures

Depending on how you access BarberScanner, you may see disclosures about our data collection practices in App Store Connect and/or the Google Play Data safety section. Those disclosures should be kept consistent with this policy.

13. Moroccan Data Protection & CNDP

Marrakech New challenge SARL aims to process personal data in a lawful, legitimate, and transparent way. Where required by applicable Moroccan law, we may notify or declare relevant processing operations to the Moroccan personal-data authority, the CNDP (Commission Nationale de Contrôle de la Protection des Données à Caractère Personnel).

Users in Morocco may contact the CNDP if they have concerns about how their personal data is handled. We also try to keep our collection limited to what is needed to provide the booking and subscription services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app, services, legal requirements, or data practices. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and may provide additional notice if required.
